Beem earned his doctor of philosophy in organizational behavior and higher education administration the School, where he defended his dissertation, Performance-Based Fundraiser Compensation: An Analysis of Preference, Prevalence and Effect. Dr. Brian Klaas, Dean of the School, serves on Hartsook’s Global Advisory Council; and Hartsook and the UMKC Henry W.
