Hartsook Celebrates Start of 29th Year
With 6,000 current and past clients on six continents in every state in the U.S. and Washington, D.C.; and having raised an estimated $180 billion for education, social service, health care, the arts, and youth services - Hartsook also has pioneered the Integrated Fundraising Campaign, the Initiative Fundraising Campaign, Bequest Pledging and many other smart strategies now common in fundraising.

No other fundraising consulting practice has invested more in professional education and research than Hartsook - over $17 million. The Hartsook Institute for Fundraising Management is launching the world's only Fundraising Management Masters degree in the fall of 2015. Last year, The Lilly Family School of Philanthropy announced the formation of the Hartsook Institute for Applied Fundraising Research with a $5 million gift. The 2015 Hartsook Summit will be held at the end of September featuring Adrian Sargeant, Chair of the Plymouth University Institute for Sustainable Philanthropy and Gene Tempel, retired Lilly Family School of Philanthropy Dean. Reaching Out to Homeless and Inner City Children of Nashville
Mission 615 (Nashville, Tenn.) is committed to serving the homeless and inner city children of Nashville. The organization was founded in 2009. It began as a van outreach which now provides food, clothing, and relational ministry to over 400 homeless and inner city children each week.

Missouri Foundation Supports the Work of Liberty Hospital
The Liberty Hospital Foundation (Liberty, Mo.) was established in 1984 to provide financial support to Liberty Hospital by funding programs that have a positive impact on the patients and employees of the Hospital, and therefore the community and the region. The Foundation has retained Hartsook to help advance the hospital's mission in serving under-insured and under-served patients, supporting community health education and programs, providing resources to hospital employees and patients, and offering pathways to education for future and current nurses in the area.

Healthier Lives Through Prevention, Diagnosis, and Treatment
The National Foundation of Infectious Diseases (Bethesda, Md.) was founded in 1973. The nonprofit is dedicated to educating the public and healthcare professionals about the causes, treatment, and prevention of infectious diseases across the lifespan. The organization's vision is to encourage healthier lives through effective prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of infectious diseases. Hartsook has been retained to assist the Foundation to increase the capacity and outreach of its programs.

Enhancing and Expanding the Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens
Arts and Recreation Foundation of Overland Park (Overland Park, Kan.) supports the recreational, aesthetic, educational, scientific and cultural potential of the Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Overland Park, Kansas. Since 1995, the Foundation has invested over $10 million in community programs and capital projects. Its 246-piece art collection is valued at over $5 million, and in 2014 over 114,000 guests visited the Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens.

Hartsook Assists Foundation to Advance Presidential Library
Eisenhower Foundation (Abilene, Kan.) supports the Eisenhower Presidential Library, Museum, and the Boyhood Home of Dwight D. Eisenhower, the only 5-star General to become President of the United States. The Eisenhower Presidential Library is home to a world-class research facility that caters to scholars and history enthusiasts from around the world. The Museum and Boyhood Home allow visitors to explore Ike's boyhood years growing up in America's heartland, his years as a military leader, and his presidency.

Salvadoran Nonprofit Seeks to Expand Services Through Increased Philanthropy
FUSAL (El Salvador) is a private, nonprofit which channels the experience and social responsibility of Salvadoran entrepreneurs commited to serving disadvantaged persons through health and education projects. One of its projects - Pounds of Love - addresses the issue of malnutrition and anemia in children.

He brings over 40 years of non-profit development expertise including 15 years in senior management for Homewood Retirement Centers in Maryland, where he served as Vice President of Funds Development.
